Bermúdez’s original painting on paper will be included in the exhibition with proceeds from art sales benefitting Grand Canyon Conservancy’s cultural, environmental and leadership programs.

Cole is the currently serving on contract for GCC’s CoA 2026. In her role as exhibit curator, Cole brings new engagement through works by José Bermúdez and new artist participation - Jared Yazzie, Estephania González, Daniella Napolitano - to the 18th annual exhibition. Earth - Mapping recognizes artworks as a record of time documenting ecological , atmospheric, and environmental shifts. Featured artists expand on traditions of painting, photography, print and design. A commissioned commemorative artwork/design by Jared Yazzie will be represented across platforms at Grand Canyon.
